The Commercial Street Night Market 2025 – That’s a Wrap!

Another incredible season has come to a close, and what a summer it has been! From live entertainment and delicious food trucks to artisan vendors and family fun, the Commercial Street Night Market once again lit up Downtown Nanaimo with community spirit and joy.

As we complete our 6th season, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this event possible — our amazing vendors, dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, and, of course, the thousands of attendees who joined us each Thursday. Your energy, support, and smiles are what make the Night Market so special.

While the streets may be quiet again, we’re already looking ahead. The Commercial Street Night Market will return next year — bigger, better, and brighter than ever. Until then, thank you for being part of this year’s celebration, and we can’t wait to welcome you back in 2026!

The Commercial Street Night Market is located on the traditional, unceded territory of Snuneymuxw First Nation and we pay respect for the opportunity to live, work, and host this event on their land.

FAQ:

What happens if it rains? The Market runs rain or shine.

Can I bring my dog? Yes! As long as they are on leash.

Where do I park? Paid parking is available at underground parkades at Port Theatre and the Conference Centre. Free parking is available at the Bastion Street Parkade and on street level at locations surrounding the Market. 

Will there be toilets? Yes, we have portables onsite.

Will stores be open as well? Many merchants stay open for the entire market.

How do I find out the entertainment schedule for this week?  Check out our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Is there a list of vendors? No. We have many vendors in for the season, but some that change weekly. Drop by the Chamber Tent to ask about specific vendors. Attend each Thursday to check out the variety.
