Thank You, Nanaimo

The 2026 Commercial Street Night Market  Has Wrapped!

Presented by Coastal Community Credit Union

What a summer it has been!

The 2026 Commercial Street Night Market has officially come to a close, and the Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped bring Commercial Street to life this season.

Every Thursday from June 18 to August 27, downtown Nanaimo was filled with music, food, local vendors, artisan goods, family fun, cultural celebrations, and thousands of community members coming together to celebrate summer. From rainy evenings to sunny market nights, the support from Nanaimo and visitors from across the Island made this season truly special.

A huge thank you to our presenting sponsor, Coastal Community Credit Union, and to all our sponsors, community partners, vendors, food trucks, entertainers, artists, downtown businesses, volunteers, staff, and visitors. The Night Market would not be possible without your time, energy, creativity, and support.

This year, we were proud to bring new and returning experiences to the market, including the Around the World Tent, Kids Zone, Art Zone, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and weekly opportunities to shop local and support small businesses.

At its heart, the Commercial Street Night Market is about community — and this season reminded us once again how special Nanaimo is.

Thank you for making the 2026 season unforgettable.

We’ll Be Back Next Year!

Planning for the next Commercial Street Night Market season will begin soon. Vendor, food truck, entertainer, sponsor, and community partner opportunities for the next season will be announced at a later date.

Stay connected with us through our website, newsletter, Facebook, and Instagram for future updates.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to Commercial Street next summer.

Thank you, Nanaimo — see you at the next Night Market!
