We caught up with Sharon, the owner of Gina’s, to ask a couple questions, and this is what she had to say:
Tell us about Gina’s Mexican Café!
“Gina’s Mexican café is the home of great fresh and tasty Mexican food a in a fun, eclectic setting. Located in the heart of downtown Nanaimo, Gina’s is known as the “Pink House on the Hill”, our specialties include our famous chipotle dinners, enchiladas, burritos, fajitas, salads, tacos, Mexican beers, sangria and of course our legendary margaritas! We source only the freshest ingredients including locally caught seafood, organic tofu, and free-range eggs. Gina’s offers a variety of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options and specializes in accommodating allergies dietary requirements”
What is something people may not know?
“We now have our own in-house ordering system! Next time you are in the mood for pick up or delivery try the online ordering feature on our website! Skip the Dishes and Door Dash are still available, however as a small local business, the costs are significant in comparison so please try our easy to use in- house ordering the next time you are looking for some tasty Mexican food to go!”
What is your favourite part about doing what you do? ”
We love bringing the taste of Mexico to Nanaimo especially now when it is so challenging for people to travel! We are so fortunate to be so supported in our community and be the place to come for all those special events and get togethers! We are honored by all you folks that choose to create your special memories with us!”
